Cappadocian Kingdom. Ariarathes VII Philometor. Ca. 106-101/0 B.C. AR tetradrachm (30 mm, 16.45 g, 12 h). Ariaratheia or Eusebia-Tyana, in the name of Antiochos VII of Syria, ca. 104-102 B.C. Diademed head of Antiochos VII right / ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ANTIOXOV EVEP-ΓETOV, Athena standing facing, head left, holding Nike and resting hand on grounded shield, spear held in crook of arm; in outer left field, monogram above A; in inner left field, O; in inner right field, Λ; all within laurel wreath. Lorber & Houghton series 1.3, 121-51. Lightly toned. Extremely fine.
