Description
KINGS of MACEDON, Alaxander III, 336-323 BC. AR Tetradrachm (15.36 gm; 30 mm). Magnesia ad Maeandrum. Circa 210-190 BC. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin / AΛEΞANΔPOY. Zeus Aëtophoros seated left; monogram above horse's head in left field, meander pattern in exergue. Cf. Price 2049-2055. Well struck on a nice broad flan. Choice Good VF. Original find patina.
