CELTIC, Late Bronze Age. 1st. millennium BC. Gold so-called "ring-money" (5.89 gm; 22 mm). In the form of a plain penannular ring with blunt tapering terminals. (Cf. van Arsdell p. 61, 1-3; ABC p. 202). Excellent condition.
