BAKTRIAN KINGS, Eukratides I. Circa 171-145 BC. AR Tetradrachm (14.11 gm; 34 mm). Heroic bust of Eukratides left, seen from behind, wearing diadem and crested helmet adorned with bull's horn and ear, holding spear / BASILEWS MEGALOU above, EUKRATIDOU in exergue, the Dioskouroi on rearing horses right; monogram below. Bopearachchi Série 8A; SNG ANS 484; MIG 179a. Light porosity, otherwise well struck. Choice aEF. Lightly toned.
