Description
KINGS of PARTHIA, Artabanos VI. AD. 212-224/7. Silver Drachm (2.76 gm; 20 mm). Ecbatana mint. Bust left, with forked beard, wearing tiara / Archer (Arsakes I) seated right on throne, holding bow; monogram below. Sellwood 89.1 (Artabanos IV); Shore 464 (Artabanos IV); Sunrise 461. Minor hairline crack (hardly visible). Lovely strike on a nice broad medallic flan. Complete circle of dots. Choice FDC. Lightly toned. Rare. Great example for this issue.
