Description
ROMAN EMPIRE. Gordian III, AD 238-244. AR Denarius (2.63 gm; 20 mm). Minted at Rome, AD. 241-243. Laureate, cuirassed and draped bust right of Gordian III / Apollo seated left holding branch. RIC 114; RSC 238. Lovely strike on a nice broad medallic flan. Choice AU with some lustrous.
