ARAB-SASANIAN, Æ Fals (2.16 gm; 19 mm). Obverse, Sasanian bust turning left, letters "LDZ" or "RYJ" (Rayej(?): meaning in circulation), Reverse, Shahadah, bottom line, mint "ST" Istakhr. Any of the Sasanian or Arab Sasanian coins with portrait turning left instead of usual right are considered top rarity. Reddish patina. Choice EF. Extremely rare.
