KINGS of MACEDON. Alexander III. 336-323 BC. AR Tetradrachm (16.94 gm; 30 mm). Arados mint. Struck circa 245-215/4 BC. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion's skin headdress / Zeus seated left, holding eagle and sceptre; palm in left field, monogram below throne, date (in Phoenician) in exergue. Price 3365; Müller 1380. Lovely style. Well struck on a nice broad flan. Choice Good VF. Lightly toned.
