ACHAMENID EMPIRE. Time of Darios I to Xerxes II. Ca. 485-420 BC. AR Siglos (5.42 gm; 14 mm ). Persian king kneeling - running right, holding spear and bow, quiver on shoulder, couple of intersting countermarks on obverse field / Incuse punch with several interesting countermarks. BMC 69; Sunrise 29var. Well struck on a large flan. Interesting countermarks on obverse and reverse. Choice VF. Toned.
