SASANIAN KINGS. Shapur II, AD. 309-379. AR drachm (2.99 gm; 23 mm). Sunrise 834var. Ctesiphon or Persis series. Standard issue, reverse, fire altar with attendants, faravahar symbol on the fire altar base. Minor hairline scratches on the obverse field(hardly visible). Die break on the reverse. Excellent style and strike. Choice EF. Toned. Rare.
