SASANIAN KINGS, Hormizd II, 303-309 AD. Æ (7.63 gm; 28 mm). obverse, Hormizd II bust turning left (instead of standard right) with standard crown, reverse, fire altar with attendants. Both types of Hormizd II AE unit do exist but this style is rarest of the all. Brown reddish and green patina. Choice Good VF. Extremely rare.
