Description
SASANIAN KINGS; Bahram (Varhran) IV, (388-399 AD). PB (Lead) Unit (2.80 gm; 17 mm). Obverse, Bahram's bust turning right with standard winged crown, symbol Swastika (symbol of good luck in all ancient cultures) in front of face, reverse, fire altar with attendants and figure of Ahuramazda in the flame. Extremely rare. Similar symbol have been recorded for Shapur II, Yazdgird I and Bahram V. Choice Good VF. Nice original find patina.
