Description
ROMAN EMPIRE; Gordian III, 238-244 AD. AR Antoninianus (4.27 gm; 23 mm). Rome, AD 241-243. IMP GORDIANVS PIVS FEL AVG, radiate draped bust right / IOVI STATORI, Jupiter standing right with sceptre and thunderbolt. Sharply struck on a nice broad flan. Choice Superb. Lightly toned with some luster.
