KINGS of PARTHIA; Phraates IV (38/7-2 BC). Billon Tetradrachm (9.65 gm; 28 mm). Seleukeia on the Tigris mint. Dated 288 SE (24 BC). Diademed bust left, wart on forehead / Phraates seated right, receiving wreath from Athena standing left, holding scepter; pellet below throne, (date) in exergue. Sellwood 52.5 var. (no pellet); Shore 274; Callataÿ 337; Sunrise 391. Well struck on a nice full flan. Well centered. Choice EF. Lightly toned.
