SYRIA. Antioch. Augustus, 27 BC.-14 AD. AR Tetradrachm (15.08 gm; 26 mm). Year 36(=6 AD). Laureate head of Augustus right, bead-and-reel border / Tyche of Antioch seated right on rocky outcropping, palm frond in right hand; half-length figure of river-god Orontes swimming right below. (date) above. Prieur 57; RPC 4158. Double struck on reverse. Lovely strike on a good metal. High relief portrait. Choice EF. Lightly toned. Very nice example for the issue.
