ARAB-SASANIAN; Abdulmalak ibn Marwan (Khalif), Year 66. AR Dirhem (4.12 gm; 32 mm). Obverse, Sasanian style bust turning right, Name and title "APDULMALIK AMIRI-WRUISHNIKAN" (Abdulmalak commander of the faithful or Amir Al-Mo'menin), Phase in Kufic "Bismillah" on the 3rd quarter, triple dots on both sides of 6 o'clock, Reverse, fire altar with attendants, mint "DA" Darbagird on the right, year 66 on the left. Choice Superb EF with some luster. Lightly toned. Rare.
