Description
KINGS of ELYMAIS. Kamnaskires II. Circa 145-139 BC. AR Tetradrachm (15.78 gm; 28 mm). Susa mint. Diademed head right; monogram behind / BAΣIΛEΩΣ KAMNΣKIROY around, NIKHΦOPOY in exergue, Apollo Delphios seated left on omphalos, holding arrow and resting hand on bow. Alram 431; Le Rider, Suse pl. VIII, D-H. Well struck on a nice flan. Minor roughness on obverse field, otherwise well struck on a nice flan. Choice Good VF / EF. Lightly toned. Very Rare. Nice example for this issue.
