Description
TOKHARISTAN, Yabghus of Baktria. 6th/7th century. AR drachm (4.12 gm; 30 mm). Sasanian style bust right, wearing winged crown topped by a bull's head, Psuedo Pahlavi legends in front of face / reverse standard fire-altar & attendants pseudo Pahlavi legends in place of mint and date. SG-265. Minor hairline scratch on the obverse field (hardly visible). Choice Superb. Lustrous. Lightly toned. Rare.
