PERSIA; Safavid, Shah Abbas I, (AH 989-1038). Gold Dinar (5.20 gm; 25 mm). Isfahan mint, Obverse and reverse same phrase " Bandeyeh Shah-e velayat Abbas" text to the right on the outside margin not legible except the 2 letters of Aa. Well struck on a broad flan. Choice EF. Of highest rarity among the Safavid coins, possible presentation piece.
