PERSIA; Achaemenid Kings. Time of Darios I to Xerxes I. Circa 485-420 BC. AR Siglos (5.10 gm; 17mm x 11mm). Persian king or hero in kneeling-running stance right, holding spear and bow / Incuse punch. Carradice Type IIIa (pl. XI, 14); BMC Arabia pl. XXV, 19; Sunrise 29. Well struck on an excellent metal. Test mark on reverse. Choice EF. Lightly toned. Nice example for the issue.
