KUSHANO-SASANIAN; Hormizd I, circa 265-295 AD. Æ Drachm (2.12 gm; 15 mm). minted in Balkh or Marw. Bust turning right, wearing lion crown topped with segmented ball; Tamgha behind the head Reverse: bust of god (Mithras?) turning left arising from fire altar, holding a diadem and scepter. Choice EF. Nice original find green patina.
