Description
ARAB-SASANIAN; Abdallah ibn Zubair (Rival Khalif), 60-73 AH.(680-692 AD). AR Dirhem (4.15 gm; 30 mm). Obverse, Sasanian style bust turning right with name in Pahlavi in front of face, Phrase Bismillah on the second quarter, triple dots flanking star and crescent at 6 o'clock. Dot at top of star on 3 and 9 o'clock, reverse Year 60 on the left, mint: DA+KA (Darabgird Kazeroun). Sharply struck on a nice full flan. Choice FDC. Lightly toned. Lustrous.
