ARAB SASANIAN, Ubaydallah ibn Ziyad. AH 54-64 / AD 673-683. AR Dirhem (4.16 gm; 30 mm). Sasanian style bust turning right, name in Pahlavi in front of face, phrase "bismillah" on the second quarter, triple dots flanking star and crescent at 6 o'clock. Dot at top of star on 3 and 9 o'clock, mint “DA” Darabgird, year 57. Sharply struck on a full flan. Choice FDC. Lightly toned. Fully lustrous.
