KUSHANO-SASANIANS; Hormizd I, Kushanshah. circa 265-295. Æ (2.58 gm; 16 mm). Uncertain mint, Obverse: Draped bust of Hormizd I turning right, wearing lion headed crown with decorated korymbos; text, 'King Hormizd' in Pahlavi; in upper left field, with tamgha, Reverse: Shiva standing facing and holding trident in his left hand; behind him, the bull Nandi standing and turning left. Cribb, type 22. Choice Good VF. Nice original find patina.
