Description
PERSIA, Safavid-Afsharid Era. Æ (13.02 gm; 27 mm). Rasht mint. obverse, phrase: "Ezza Waqa' men del tama'" Glory will come when you remove avarice from your heart" reverse, zarbe-Rasht. Similar types of phrases are observed in Afsharid coinage of Nader Shah. This issue might very well be from Afsharid period. Well struck on a nice broad flan. Brown reddish patina. Choice VF. Rare.
