KINGS of BAKTRIA; Eukratides I. circa 171-145 BC. AR Drachm (4.21 gm; 20 mm). Diademed, draped bust of Eukratides right, seen from front / BAΣIΛEΩΣ above, EYKPATIΔOY in exergue, the Dioscuri on horseback prancing right, both with couched spear in right hand; monogram beneath forehooves. Bopearachchi Série 2b; SNG ANS 623; HGC 12, 135.Minor marks on reverse field, otherwise well struck on a broad flan. Fine style. Choice EF. Lightly toned.
