INDO-PARTHIANS, Margiana or Sogdiana. early-mid 1st century AD. AR Drachm (3.87 gm; 20 mm). Countermarked issue of a Mithradatkart mint drachm of Orodes II (cf. Sellwood type 47.29). Diademed bust left; star before, crescent behind; countermark: on neck (helmeted head left) within oval incuse / Archer (Arsakes I) seated right on throne, holding bow; monogram below bow. Senior 202.1D. Choice VF. Lightly toned. Rare.
