QAJAR, Civic Issue. 1250 -1264 AH. Copper unit (5.25 gm; 15 mm). Obverse, lion and Sun Imperial symbol, reverse, minted in "Dar-al Ebadah-ye Yazd" (City of Yazd), most likely minted during the reign of Mohammad Shah Qajar since similar style coinage with identical design were minted in Shiraz during Mohammad Shah's reign. Reddish patina. Choice VF. Rare.
