ARAB-SASANIAN, Ubaidallah ibn Ziyad(an), Year 60?. AR Dirhem (4.01 gm; 30 mm). Obverse, Sasanian style bust turning right, name in front of face, GDH and Apzut behind the crown, phrase "Bismillah" on the second quarter, triple dots on right and left of 6 o'clock, phrase "Lillahy" on the third quarter, countermark at 8 o'clock / Reverse, Fire altar with attendants, mint DA (Darabgird), year (60?)-flattened by strike, phrase "Lillah" on the left of 12 o'clock. Choice AU. Lightly toned with some luster. Extremely rare.
