Description
TABERISTAN; Khurshid or Khorshid, (115-142 AH). AR Hemidrachm (2.12 gm; 24 mm). Standard issue but with variation with a large dot on the right side of the crescent of the crown on the obverse, year 90. The period coincides with reign of 10th Umayyad Khalif; Hisham ibn Abd al-Malik, and Abbasid’s Saffah and Mansur, Album 52. Choice FDC. Lightly toned. Fully lustrous.
