SYRIA, Seleucis and Pieria, Antioch. Vespasian. 69-79 AD. AR Tetradrachm (14.99 gm; 29 mm). Dated 'New Holy Year' 1 = AD 69. AYTOKPA OYЄCΠACIANOC KAICAP CЄBACTOC, laureate head to right / ETOYC NEOY IEPOY A, eagle standing facing on club, with head to left, holding wreath in beak, and wings spread; palm frond to left. RPC II 1970; Prieur 132; McAlee 355. Couple of minor hairline scratches, hardly visible, otherwise well struck. Choice EF. Toned.
