ROMAN EMPIRE, Hadrian, 117-138 AD. Æ Sestertius (22.51 gm; 32 mm). Rome, AD 119-123. IMP CAESAR TRAIANVS HADRIANVS AVG, laureate bust right, slight drapery on far shoulder / PONT MAXTR POT COS II, Hadrian seated left on platform, hand extended towards citizen below, who received coins from a seated attendant; Liberalitas standing left on platform, holding tessera; LIBERALITAS AVG and SC in exergue. RIC II.3 163; RIC 552; C. 914; BMCRE 1136. Well struck on a full flan. Well centered. Light smoothing on the field. Dark brown green patina. Choice EF. Rare.
