HUNNIC TRIBES: in Baktria and Sogdiana, Imitation of Hormizd IV, 790 to 810 AD. AR Drachm, Obverse; Sasanian-style bust turning right, three different countermarks on the outer ring, one Arabic (jayez). Reverse; Fire altar with attedants, imitation pahlavi letters "Bish" (mint Bishapur), and date 11 with imitation of pahlavi letters. (3.12gm, 33mm) Choice Very Fine. Lightly toned. Extremely rare.
