KINGS of PERSIS, Darev (Darios) II. 1st century BC. AR Drachm (3.92 gm; 17 mm). Type 1c. Bearded bust left, wearing diadem and Parthian-style tiara with crescent and three rows of pellets / Darev standing left, holding scepter and sacrificing before altar to left. K&M 4/4; Alram 564; Tyler-Smith -; Sunrise 590. Lovely strike from high relief dies. Choice EF. Lightly toned.
