SASANIAN KINGS, Shapur II. 302-379 AD. Æ (2.38 gm; 19 mm). obverse, Shapur's bust turning right, monogram of abstract sacred Cyprus tree with crescent moon and sun on the top, reverse, stand alone fire altar. Well struck on a nice road flan. Brown reddish patina. Choice Good VF. Extremely rare.
