ARAB-SASANIAN, Abdullah ibn Zubayr, Year 60 AH. AR Dirhem (4.14 gm; 30 mm). Obverse, Sasanian style bust turning right, name and title in Pahlavi "apdwla-i zubiran amīr-i -wurrishnikān" meaning "Abdullah ibn Zubayr, Commander of faithful or believers", phrase "Bismillah" on the second quarter, triple dots flanking the crescent and star at 6 o'clock, reverse, fire altar with attendants, mint "DA" (Darabgird) on the right, year 60 on the left. Choice EF. Lightly toned.
