SASANIAN KINGS, Khosrau II, 590-628 AD. AR Drachm (4.16 gm; 31 mm). Standard issue, Mint: BBA (Ctesiphon) and year 37 (last year of reign). Crowned bust to right wearing mural crown with frontal crescent, two wings and star in crescent / Fire altar with ribbons and attendants; star and crescent flanking flames. Göbl type I/3. Sharply struck on an excellent metal. Choice FDC. Lightly toned. Fully lustrous.
