Description
ARAB-SASANIAN, Ubaydallah ibn Ziyad(an), Year 47. AR Drachm (4.10 gm; 31 mm). Obverse, Khosrau II style bust turning right, name in Pahlavi in 2 lines in front of the face, phrase, Bismillah on the second quarter with triple dots on the right and left of 6 o'clock symbol, dot on top of the crescent and star symbol on 3, 6 and 9 o'clock, reverse, fire altar with attendants, mint: DA (Darabgird) on the right and year 47 on the left, in addition, the standard crescent on the left of fire altar is replaced by a large dot. Choice EF. Lightly toned. Extremely rare.
