PERSIA; Safavid to Qajar Persia, 17 to 20 Century. Agate Seal (1.78 gm; 21 mm; 16 mm). Written in finest Persian Nasta’liq calligraphy, Surah Baqarah Verse 255 from Quran also known as “Ayatul Kursi”. Ayatul Kursi is one of the most important texts in Quran and Muslims respect it as “speech of Allah”. Superb and truly one of kind gem of museum quality. Fantastic style of calligraphy. Excellent condition.
