China: Sinkiang (Xinjiang), Qing Dynasty, Zhungar Khanate, Tsewan Arabtan (1697-1727), Yarkand mint, AE Pul coins, Issued by native Khans, 1700-45. Posthumous issues which can be assigned to their correct period on stylistic grounds Rebellion by the Moslem natives was a constant threat to Chinese rule. Some rebels issued their own coins for a while, using Arabic as well as Chinese patterns. (7.65gm, 17mm), Extremely Fine.
