Description
SASANIAN KINGS, Yazdgird I. 399-420 AD. PB (Lead) unit (4.18 gm; 16 mm). Obverse, Yazdgird bust turning right, fire altar in front of face, letter possibly "S" behind the head (typically known to be abbreviation for Sakastan mint), reverse, fire altar with attendants, mint abbreviation around the flame (not legible). Well struck on a nice full flan. Choice EF. Nice original find patina. Extremely rare.
