SASANIAN KINGS, Yazdgird II. 438-457 AD. PB (Lead) unit (2.58 gm; 21 mm). Obverse, Yazdgird bust turning right within a square with 4 dots at four corners of square, reverse, fire altar with attendants, crescent moon on the right side. Well struck on a nice broad flan. Choice Good VF. Nice original find patina. Exceptionally rare issue, most likely special occasion or donative issue.
