SASANIAN KINGS, Peruz. second Crown. 457/9-484 AD. AR Drachm (4.13 gm; 28 mm). Bust right, wearing mural crown with frontal crescent, korymbos set on crescent, and no rear merlon / Fire altar with ribbons; flanked by two attendants, mint: SK (Sakastan). Rare mint for the reign. SNS type I/1a (pl. 78, 18); Gobl type I/1; Paruck -; Saeedi -; Sunrise 938var. Choice EF. Lightly toned with some luster.
