ARAB-SASANIAN, Hajjaj ibn Yusof. AH 75-95 (694-713 AD). Æ (0.87 gm; 17 mm). Obverse, Sasanian bust in the style of Khosrau II,name on Kufic in front of face, Shahadah with symbols in the outer ring, reverse, standing figure (possibly standing Khalif) with both hand raised in gesture of prayer, phrase in Pahlavi "Pylwch, (victorious) followed by the name of Hajjaj ibn Yusof, Gyselen Type 78. Brown patina. Choice VF. Extremely rare.
