ILKHANS of PERSIA, Abu Said, AH.716-736 (1316-1335 AD). Æ (3.74 gm; 25 mm). Obverse, mint "Hamadan" at the center, legend on the outer ring "al-Sultan Abu Said, Khaladallah molkan" (Sultan Abu Said who resides close to God), reverse, Shahadah for Allah and Prophet Mohammad, followed by the name of 4 Rashidin khalifs, outer ring, date 7?? (only last portion legible). Choice EF. Original patina. Rare.
