SASANIAN KINGS, Vahram (Bahram) II and family. 276-293 AD. AR Drachm (4.24 gm; 26 mm). Jugate busts of Bahram, wearing winged crown with korymbos, and his queen, wearing kolah with boar’s head, right, vis-a-vis bust of Prince 4, wearing kolah with eagle’s head, reverse, fire altar with attendants, with symbol “Faravahar” on the left of flame. SNS type VI/1 var.; Gobl type VII/2a; Saeedi 166 corr. (rev. type); Sunrise 786var. Sharply struck on a nice full flan. Choice Superb "As struck". Toned with some luster. Lovely example for this issue. Rare in this condition.
