VINTAGE, One of a kind Bespoke Precious metal Butane lighter (77.80 grams; 60mm x 38mm x 12mm). Designed and built by Chavdar Chushev, a contemporary jewelry designer and Gem Engraver. This unique device is built entirely of precious metals (sterling silver and fine gold). Only the valves and striking wheel are not precious metals and are made by Ronson. The lighter is fully hallmarked on the bottom with 925, 24K and the designer’s personal hallmark. The bottom also features a hollow tube which can be used for storing spare flints or other small items. The lighter is One Of A Kind and entirely hand made by the designer himself. Excellent condition. "The lighter features scenes from the ancient Greek mythology. One of the compositions shows Prometheus being punished by the Gods for stealing the fire from them and giving it to the mortals. He is chained to a rock where an eagle consumes his liver during the day and by divine power the organ regenerates during the night, only to be eaten again by the carnivorous bird on the next day. And this cycle would continue for an eternity. Hercules stumbled upon the carnage on a trip to one of his 12 labors, broke the chains and freed Prometheus from the eternal suffering. Elsewhere on the uniquely textured surface one can recognize Hercules, Hermes, Argos and Cupid".
