ROMAN EMPIRE, Julia Domna (Augusta). 193-217 AD. AR Denarius (3.86 gm; 19 mm). Laodicea ad Mare mint. Struck under Septimius Severus and Caracalla, circa AD 198-202. IVLIA AVGVSTA, draped bust right / PVDI CITIA, Pudicitia seated left, hand across breast. RIC IV 644 (Septimius Severus); BMCRE 614 (Septimius Severus); RSC 168. Sharply struck on a full flan. Well centered. Choice FDC. Lightly toned. Fully lustrous.
