ARAB-SASANIAN, Ziyad ibn Abi Sofian, AR Drachm (4.44 gm; 33 mm). mint: BYSh (Bishapur), Year 70. Sasanian style bust turning right, name in Pahlavi in front of face, phrase "Bismillah" at second quarter between two circles phrase "Rabi" on the third quarter, reverse, fire altar with attendants, mint on the right, date on the left. Minor hairline scratch on obverse field, otherwise sharply struck on a broad flan. Choice AU. Lightly toned.
