SASANIAN KINGS, Peruz (Firuz) I. Third crown, 457/9-484 AD. AR Drachm (4.13 gm; 30 mm). mint AS (ASURISTAN, ASPANVAR, ASPAHAN). Standard issue. Obverse bust right, wearing winged 3rd Crown / Fire altar with ribbons; flanked by two attendants in prayer type, Mint to the right, Kings's name to the left. SNS type I/1a (pl. 78, 18); Gobl type I/1; Paruck -; Saeedi -; Sunrise 938var. Choice FDC. Lightly toned. Fully lustrous.
